The History of Boyer Candy
Like any good candy business, Boyer began life in the Boyer family kitchen. Brother Bill made the candy, mother Emily and sister Emily (yes really!) wrapped it and brother Bill sold it door to door.
The demand for their nut raisin clusters and homemade fudge was so high they soon expanded their range.
Their initial attempts at covering marshmallow with chocolate didn't go well as they couldn't get the marshmallow to stiffen. Emily came to the rescue by suggesting using cupcake papers.
It was a success and the Boyer Mallo Cup was born!
